Finally Here!

Let me introduce you to Melody Hanna Lee, born Dec. 7th, 2010 at 7:55pm. She was born 7 lb 13oz and 19.5 inches long.

Yes I am finally a father. Kinda surreal and very tiring. Baby eats like a champ. She is a very good girl no fussing or complaining. She has the funniest little pooping face. And no her head is not huge. It's on the higher end of average. She has long fingers and big feet.

Anyway I am tired. I'll update more at a later time. Thanks for all the prayers and good wishes.

Anytime Now

Baby clothes. Check. Baby Blanket. Check. Carseat. Check. Bags packed. Check.

Anytime now the baby could be coming. Kinda crazy that there's going to be baby here so soon. Crying, pooping, peeing, eating, burping. I guess it's slowly sinking in. Jee went to the DR and everything is going well and the DR said anytime now. So we are just waiting and getting ready. Got our new baby monitor today. Thanks Brother. Got a heated floor mat from the in-laws. Thanks in-laws. Got a baby bouncer that Jee wanted so the baby had somewhere to be when she was taking showers and stuff. Thanks US.

Are we ready? I don't think so, but it's something we just gotta learn on the fly. Do I know how to change a diaper? Nope. Something I guess I gotta learn soon. Lots of learning to do.

Man this post is bad. Sorry everyone. I guess I just don't know what to say. Hopefully the next post will be better.

It Just Creeps Up on YOU

Wow. 1 Month. It's been a while since I've posted. I apologize. Lot's has gone on and has kept me occupied in the past few months. School is almost done. 3 weeks. Thesis is done. Jee is doing well, resting and waiting. It's exciting cause the baby comes soon, but it's scary cause the baby comes soon. I guess it's just something you just jump into and just see where it leads. I realized I am a very in the moment type of guy. Never really think of the consequences or about the future much. Jee always asks is this what you thought life would be like? And honestly I never know cause I never had lofty visions of what my life would be like in 5-10 years. I just kinda live and roll with the punches.

Everyone always asks if I wanted a boy first. I just want a happy healthy baby. It's easy to have a hollywood type dream that all babies come out healthy and happy, but going through my pediatrics course, you realize thats not always the case. So many different pathologies that can easily effect any family. That's why I just wanted a healthy baby. And as Melody hopefully comes out healthy. I definitely would want a boy with the next child. =)

So we had our baby shower and have the nursery almost fully ready. Thanks everyone again for coming and for the presents. We repay you with the chance of holding the baby when she gets here. As far as the nursery goes, its mainly furnished from pottery barn. It's nice when you get 40% discounts as an employee. I highly recommend doing something like that when your expecting. Anyway, here are some photos of the nursery.

Well, I've got 1 month to get ready. To learn as much as I can. To practice putting on a diaper (never done it before).

Still alive

So it's been fairly busy starting school and getting things rolling for the semester. We are still here tho. And there will be a massive dump of information for the next update. Just wanted to let everyone know that the pregnancy is going well so far and Jee is ready for the baby to come out, atleast in terms of all the sicknesses and tiredness she has. We have slowly been getting things ready in her room. We got the crib and the carpet. Going to get the dresser this weekend. Jee has been buying lots and lots of clothes, well she says its not enough but I think its overkill especially with the baby shower coming up.

Jee is in her 7th month and has all the symptoms. Indigestion, growing belly, sciatica, fatigue, always being hungry. It's pretty crazy to think that in about 2.5 months the baby will be here and we will have to take care of a little person. We just had a baby shower for a friend of ours and their due in about a month. The baby is just creeping up on us more and more.

You can actually see the baby moving alot. Jee says she can even feel the baby hiccup in the belly. You can feel the kicks and punches and wiggling the baby does when she is awake. I've started to get a bit paranoid when Jee says the baby isn't moving when I think it usually does. Just wondering if the baby is going to be healthy and all. For school I've actually been able to visit a center for disabled which mainly have people that have cerebral palsy or other diseases, and got a chance to work with the PT. Kinda scary just what can happen during pregnancy and how these people grew up and are living at this stage of life.

Well anyway, no need to dwell on that stuff. So yea I will have another post coming with some pictures and stuff. Hopefully it won't take a month. Though I do have to prepare for my thesis defense this month. =(

4 Months!!

Wow! Can't believe that in 4 months there will be a baby in our house. If you stepped in our house you wouldn't think there would be a baby on the way. Just a bunch of baby clothes but no decorations or furniture yet. I think we have a good amount of clothes to kinda start off with but Jee doesn't think so. We've been stopping by Gap on Wednesday's to get 40% off reg priced items. Not a bad deal but it's only off one regular priced item.

Is there a father version of nesting? I guess I'm just getting nervous we don't have anything cause our friend Jenni and Gak have everything basically ready. Jee and I are going to the PB outlet this weekend to see if there is anything there worth getting or on our list. I guess it'll be a bit better when we get a crib in the baby's room. We want to get this.

Fairly expensive but with the right hook up =) we can get it for a decent price. We also need window coverings, a dresser/changing table and some type of lamp to put in the baby room. We are also looking at getting this carpet for the baby's room.
Well anyway, as you can see we still have lots to take care of before the baby comes. We did get our first baby toy. Say hello to Jacques the Peacock.

Supposedly a very good toy for newborns due to the flashy colors and deep color contrasts. The back of Jacques is all black and white for contrast. Each feather makes noises and has different textures. So hopefully our little girl will be well stimulated by the toy.

Man so there's 4 months till the baby comes!!!, 1.5 weeks till school starts! I think from what I've heard our baby shower is in Oct.

Oh yea, also upgraded the the IPhone 4 so that I can start taking better pictures and 720p videos. So soon enough there may be some Videos up on the site.

Down by the Bay....

Who comes up with these books? All these baby books kinda don't make sense, especially the down by the bay book. It talks about whales with polka dot tails and llamas eating pajamas. Is this what we want our kids to learn? Lies? We need more educational books. I guess it does show kids how to rhyme words, uses repetitive sounds to help them learn the words, shows them colors and gets them familiar to short sentences. It's just these books aren't in depth in the topics they choose. For example for the down by the bay book why not talk about the sandy beaches the blue waters and crabs and fish and stuff. Not whales with polka dot tails and flies with bowties. I guess all the books are looking to be silly and just plain random to give the children a bit of an imagination as they are read to and as they read. Maybe I should look into TO's book called TO learns to share.

Anyways we got the car seat in the mail. Who knew it would be such a hot item that many of our friends would not be able to get. I guess 60% off is a good deal. Maybe we should just sell it for double the price we bought it for =). Anyway we also got some more baby clothes as Jee mentioned in the earlier post. The frillier stuff was a two piece bathing suit that I did not believe the baby needed next year. What baby needs to show off their belly? We did get some cute pants and shirts though. I was too lazy to post pictures of all the clothes.

I can't believe it is already August. We only have 4.5 months till the baby comes and we really don't have much. We still need to buy a lot of the "bigger" things like crib, dresser/changing table, curtains and such to start decorating the babies room. Luckily I work at PB and can get a discount. Who knew baby furniture could cost almost more than adult furniture. Along with the furniture we need to start picking out other things like bottles, toys, baby seats, infant car seats, strollers and such. Luckily Jee is better at thinking about what the baby might need soon. Hopefully.

Down by the bay. Where the watermelons grow. Back to my home, I dare not go. For if i do, my mother will say. Have you ever tried to figure out what this baby business is all about? Down by the bay!

I'm BACK!

Two blogs in one week! I asked my husband if he was going to continue to post a picture of everything we buy...guess he's lacking on topics to write for blog entries and with no more ultrasounds..pictures are going to be scarce.

We're half way there! And i finally feel like myself again, no more throwing up in the dishwasher (knock on wood)! I still have the occasional gag when baby's hungry, but other than that so far so good - thank God for that! The week after the korea trip I was back to throwing up and praying it was just because of the jet lag and the rough plane ride and not the looming return of morning sickness. but so far so good.

After the realization sorta set in that we were going to be having a girl I finally bought some girly clothes for her, i love that there are so many more options for cute baby girl clothes vs. boy's clothes...but it adds up quick! I had to have the husband check the shopping bag before clicking check out...and of course he veto-ed some of the too frilly items.

i think im finally slowly realizing that in a matter of months I'm going to be taking care of someone else, that her needs are greater than mine...yes it sounds selfish...but as we start buying more things for her, i'm left thinking "wow when is the next time im going to get to buy..." as im always looking for sales on baby clothes and other items, i wonder when the last time my husband bought clothes for himself..well..more like when was the last time i bought him clothes.

but every time i feel a kick or a squirm can't but help feel excited. Last night I asked my husband, "youre not going to say hello to us?" and he replied "us, so youre two people now" and with her growing it really does feel like US now.

before we even thought of really having kids I used to as Hoy what attributes he would want our children to have from him...and as the days draw more near I cant but wait to see her little face and who's nose, mouth, ears, and eyes she has. but until then..cant wait to see some kicking outside the belly..people often refer to the scene in alien.

so til then friends. bye!

love you my little bean

Reading Rainbow!!

Thanks again to Lisa, Angela and Crystal/Suk for the presents!! Now we have a blanket, socks that look like shoes and an I love mommy bib.

Jee has been getting on me to read/sing to the baby. Luckily I have a friend thats a teacher namely Lisa. She bought us a few of her favorite baby books. Most of which I never heard of. I guess I never read much when I was younger and that shows why I don't read much today. But now that we have some books, I've been reading to our daughter every night since we got them. I've only read for maybe 3 days, but it's a start. I've been reading the book Goodnight Moon. Hopefully the baby likes the book, but who knows right now. Jee hasn't told me that the baby moves at all when I read it. I've been told that when the baby comes out it'll recognize songs and books and voices from when it was in the womb. So hopefully these books will be comforting to the baby when she comes out.

Can't believe in less than 5 months we will have a baby. Kinda hard to believe. I guess it still hasn't fully hit me still. We just bought our first piece of baby "equipment" which is a baby car seat that we will hopefully be able to use for the next 5 years since its convertible from a rear facing to a front facing car seat. We were able to find the Britax Boulevard CS on sale for 60% off of MSRP at FAO Schwarz. It looks like this.
That's it for now. Goodnight blog.

It's a GIRL!!

Who would have thought. Me having 2 older brothers and Jee having an older brother, and our first child? A GIRL!! Yup its a girl. The Dr showed us the privates and yup no pee pee. Jee was totally surprised. Me, not as much because I didn't totally psych myself into thinking it was a boy. But now that we know the sex it's kinda like, wow we are really having this baby now. And it'll be here in 5 months......WOW. Lots of stuff to do till then and things to get ready. Here are a few things we have right now.

We bought these at Gap cause everything was on sale. We bought stuff at the boys section thinking we would have a boy but we bought the most gender neutral stuff we could find.

Got the bib from my CI and the little towel thing from Jee's cousin in Korea.

The rest of this stuff is all from Korea. Mixture from Linda and Jee's friends and cousin.

Still got lots to do and get ready. I don't even know what to do with girls. Lots of preparing to do.

And We're Back...

Back stateside since 7/11 (happy anniversary Jun and Mirim). We were picked up by our great neighbors Suk and Crystal and came home to a house that was nasty HOT. Looks like the hot weather had our poor AC running the whole time we were gone because my dad said that we should keep it set around 85 so that the hot weather doesn't damage our hardwood floors. So AC units don't like to work so hard and ours definitely quit on us. So for about a day and half we were without the great invention of air conditioning. Jee and I were both sweating just like when we were walking around the humid streets of Korea. Luckily my dad came by and diagnosed our AC unit. I got an extensive education on how it works, though I doubted in my mind that my dad could actually fix the thing. So as he opened it up he found that the blower motor had fried and we needed to get another one (for those of you who don't know my dad is a carpenter/selfmade handy man who can basically fix anything). So in short my dad fixed the motor and called in a friend to refresh our freon which from the sound of has been missing since day 1 we have been in the house. But now it is nice and cool in the house.

However, Jee hasn't fully recovered from the trip to Korea. Still jetlagged (she is sleeping next to me as I write this) and still not feeling 100% (nausea/vomiting). Not sure if the time change on the adjusting of the body has anything to do with it, but she still isn't feeling so good, along with all the other crazy pregnancy symptoms she's got. Can you believe this is what the baby looks like?
It actually looks like a baby. It's about 5 inches and weights 5 oz. Jee says the baby is moving like crazy inside and I have yet to be able to feel it. She said the DR says I won't be able to feel it for another month. But right now the baby's nervous system is developing (nerd alert). So all the neural pathways are starting to set themselves down and all the senses are developing. Man I wish I paid closer attention in Neuro Anatomy.

So next week, we have the chance to find out if we are having a boy or a girl. For me, I'm still not 100% sure if I want to find out or not, but for Jee, she is 100% ready to find out. So from what I've been told the wife usually has the final say. But we still have a week to figure it out. I've also started working a new part time job so that we have some money to spend on the baby hopefully.

1.5 months till our 1 year anniversary and when school starts, 2 months till the start of HOKIE football, 5 months till the baby comes (holy crap!)

All We Do is EAT

Man, since we have been in Korea, all we have done is eat and hang out. We've had bosam, dduk boki, kimbap, jja jjang myun, tang su yuk, kkang poon gi, paht bing soo, shabu shabu, hotdog surrounded by frenchfries, naeng myung, kalbi jjim, boodae jigae, bbq chicken, dahk galbi, duck meat, and rotiboy mocha butter bread. The best was probly the naeng myun. The best I have ever tasted. It has a very sweet taste and the broth is more shee won ae then most.
We also had a chance to go to all the shops like itaewon, namdaemun and dongdaemun. LOTS of cute baby clothes and lots of great imitation designer products. Still need to shop and buy baby stuff and need to get me a wallet. Since we have been here Jee hasn't had much morning sickness, but that might be the fact that our times are all thrown off. But she has felt the baby moving around in her belly. I have yet to feel it but she has. She has also had super swollen feet since we have been here off the plane. Not sure if its a pregnancy thing or just from not moving on the plane. Hopefully it gets back to normal when we get back. The baby has been eating well but sometimes I worry just cause I'm not 100% sure about the food and water. But she doesn't like it when I'm a food nazi.

Anyway still lots of eating left to do. Till next time.

Welcome to the Motherland

After 24 hours we are finally in Korea. It has been a long long trip so far, atleast for the plane ride. Here is what we rode in on.
Pretty awesome airline. The sucky thing is that we had a the middle seats and no aisle seats. So we were afraid that she wouldn't feel well on the flight. Luckily she only felt sick towards the end and was able to sleep it off after she threw up. But man, this flight is ridiculously long. Both Jee and I had swollen ankles and hands by the end of the trip. Jee's ankles looked so swollen that she could have had CHF. They have personal screens to watch movies on and stuff. Since we had such a long flight Jee and I saw plenty of movies that we had not watched prior to the flight. I was able to watch (for the most part if I didn't pass out during) how to train a dragon, book of eli, alice in wonderland, date night, the wedding dress, invictus, valentines day, one episode of friends.

Our first meal in Korea was a doozy. We had bo sam. Which is basically sangyup sal with really sweet kimchi and sahm and stuff. It was soooo good and it was delivery! Hopefully we try some more good food today. Jay and Jun have been on a mission to document all the food that they eat here in Korea. So there maybe pictures of the food in the future.

There doesn't seem to be many people that walk with their babies outside. Guess the smog and the weather isn't the best for babies. Hopefully it doesn't effect our baby. Oh yeah. A few nights ago Jee told me that she might have felt the baby moving. So atleast the baby is staying active. I always seem to worry about what might happen to the baby on a plane ride and with stuff Jee is eating. But she just keeps calling me a nazi and says I won't let her do anything. Maybe we will buy some stuff while we are here in Korea, but it makes it hard not knowing if it'll be a boy or girl. Anyway. Till next time!

Hello From Umma

I always tell my husband he never tells it from my point of view, and what better way to get my pov across than to blog about life as a pregnant lady myself.

current cravings : chipotle - my usual...fajita bowl, barbacoa, pinto beans, corn, hot salsa, tomatoe salsa, lettuce, cheese, and a little sour cream...why not throw in an order of chips and guac too.
(i was secretly hoping that writing about it would maybe gross me out, but no...sigh) I'd go get it..but its 90 degrees out and the closest chipotle is 3 metro stops away...im hoping I can hold off til dinner.

my.life.revolves.around.food.

early on i craved korean spicy soups: soontufu, yukaejang - i had my mom make a HUGE vat of yukaejang and ate it every meal..then i threw up and i never wanted to touch it again...we froze the left overs and my good-sport husband has been defrosting and eating it.

i loooved asparagus for awhile..we bought a costco size bushel (what do you call it) and I roasted it with salt, pepper, and olive oil...and ate it for breakfast, lunch and dinner...then threw up..and now i never want to smell nor see..eat it ever again.

sigh. The morning sickness isnt as bad as of week 12...but I still have my off days. It sucks feeling crappy. But I know and knew early on that we're and are blessed, I am blessed. To have this human growing inside of me, with all the scares in the beginning and me being a realist I knew that there is always a chance of a miscarriage. But even with the nights of hugging the toilet and asking my husband to set up a makeshift bed in the bathroom so I dont have to go back and forth from bed-->toilet. Every time i look at the baby's sono I can't but help fall more in love and feel lucky to have this little person growing inside of me. I'm sure all mothers feel this way.

ok so thats life thus far...lets see if Husband wants to make another date night trip to Buy Buy Baby for the 3rd weekend in a row...

Hello World!

Today we got to see the baby when it actually looks like a baby and not a little bean or a blob. This was the first time for me seeing the baby after the very first sonogram. It's pretty ridiculous how much the baby has grown in just 14 weeks. It was exciting to see the baby moving its arms and legs and wiggling around all over the place. If you look at the picture above you can see a white splotch above his belly which is the baby's hand waving at us in the picture. Jee commented that the baby looks like it might have a big head like everyone warned her about. The baby seemed really active and moved a lot during the whole appointment. We still aren't sure what the sex of the baby is yet since its only 14 weeks, but the Doctor told us that our due date might actually be a bit sooner than the 12/22 that we were told. Looks like the baby should be coming 12/17, 5 days earlier. In this second picture it kinda looks like the baby is playing the saxophone with both hands. Maybe it'll be a musician of some sort, who knows.

Anyway, there's a look see for all you people out there. Can't believe its already been 3.5 months and we are in the 2nd trimester. Time flies by so fast.

1week till the iphone comes out. 2 weeks till I finish clinical. 2 weeks till Korea. 2.5 months till school starts. 6 months till the baby comes.

Decisions Decisions

Who knew deciding what products to get for the baby would be so difficult. For example, a baby stroller. Who knew there would be like 800 different ones out there and they can range from 50 to 1000 dollars! There are a butt load of different brands too like Bugaboo, Maclaren, Graco, Peg Perego, Baby Jogger and much more. Out of all the reviews and websites I've seen the Peg Perego Pliko P3 stands out the most. Pictured below

The stats are that it's easy to use, very light, folds up like an umbrella stroller, fits from birth to 45 lbs and you can let your kid stand on the back of it cause it has a foot board to stand on. Plus its very fashionable. HOWEVER, the stinking thing cost $300+!! But from the reviews and what people have said its a very safe and durable stroller that can be used for a long time. There's another stroller that we looked at that only get my attention because of how easily it can fold up just by using one hand. It's the Baby Jogger City Mini. Pictured below.

Not the prettiest of strollers. Resembles an actual jogging stroller. The best thing about it is that you just grab a strap in the street and it folds up! That's it. However a lot of the reviewers don't seem to think its a 100% great stroller.

Baby Monitors were another thing I've started to look at. First we have to decide if we want an audio monitor or a video monitor. The video monitors are basically webcams for watching your baby while your resting or doing something else while the baby sleeps. I'm kinda leaning towards a video baby monitor but is it really worth it? (recommendations from the readers would be great) The best rated and the most sold has the been the Summer Infant Day and Night Handheld Video Monitor. People on Amazon have been giving it basically all 5 stars.
However the company has also just come out with a new model, the Slim and Secure Video Monitor. The carry around piece actually looks kinda like a blackberry.
Who knows what we will go with but there are just so many options out there. Jee has been reading up and blogs and has been getting ideas on what she wants and what people have recommended. Well anyway this blog is getting too long. Anyone have suggestions please leave a comment. Thanks!

Oh yeah! We are going in on Thursday to hopefully get a nuchal test done and get a sonogram. Wish us luck and hopefully a new picture of the little guy, or girl up soon.

Beginning of Summer Happenings

It's been a while since I've been on here. Let's see what's been going on. Memorial weekend was pretty uneventful except fishing with Suk and him not catching anything and me catching 2 nasty catfish at Burke lake. Him not getting really burnt and me getting lobster red.

Also now I am about half way through my clinical for the summer. It's been a good learning experience and I think I am getting used to how the clinic runs and actually working with patients. I've been getting a large range of patients from neuro to geri, young and old, smelly country to pretty well established in suburbia.

In terms of wife and the baby, we are over the first trimester hump! We go from a 60% chance of miscarriage to a 5% chance! Hopefully the wife's morning sickness goes away soon. One day she was putting dishes away in the dishwashers and all I hear is "HOY! HELP!" So I come downstairs to find that she threw up while loading the dishwasher. So there was throw up in the dishwasher. Ended up running it twice to make sure it was clean. We were supposed to go and have a check up Monday but because the wife changed jobs the insurance hadn't gone through yet. So the check up is next week now so we still haven't fully had confirmation that everything is OK. Hopefully by next week we will have a better picture to post of the baby and confirmation that all is going well. Jee actually posted on Facebook that we are preggos so now the whole world will know. We have been looking around for baby stuff online and at the store here and there. Didn't realize how expensive and how many different types of strollers there are! Spent one whole night looking and videos and reviews of different types of strollers. We are definitely looking a for a lightweight, easily folded, very durable stroller. Peg Perego, Bugaboo, Graco, Baby Jogger. So many different companies. Right now I kinda like the Peg Perego Plika P3. BLAH! I sound like a nerd. Anyway, any suggestions?

Yea it's been a crazy first half the summer so far. 4 days till the start of the World Cup. 16 days till the new IPhone 4 comes out. 3 weeks till we leave for Korea. 3 months till I start school again. And roughly 7 months till the baby comes.

Just Keeps Growing and Growing!

BABY BUMPS. Cute, exciting, growth, beautiful. Those might be some of the words used when you see one. But on the husband? NOT SO MUCH. Yea I guess sitting in class all day for 2 years and not exercising can do this to you. This is my stomach. Not Jee's. I guess you could say I've developed a "sympathy bump" but not on purpose. I guess it's time to start working out again since I'm not in school and because all my clinical clothes are getting a bit tight. I would take a picture of Jee's baby bump but she doesn't want that all up on the web for all to see. Anyway, 7 more weeks of clinical, a month and a half till I go to Korea, 3 months till school starts and 6 and half months till the baby comes.

Double Down!

Looks like the little bean has doubled in size! 2nd OB/GYN appt on Thursday showed a much larger baby at 8 weeks and 5 days. Glad to see that the baby has been growing and has almost doubled in size. Jee said the baby was dancing and moving around in the sonogram. Always great to hear it but would have been awesome to see it. Got an appt to see if the baby has down syndrome in a few weeks and go back to the OB/GYN in 4 weeks. Man, it is all happening so fast. Having a 40hr/week clinical hasn't been helping. But it's been a good experience so far. Just very tiring.

Well hope the little dude/duddette keeps growing and growing. And allergies suck.

Happy Mother's Day and First Day of Clinic

So we got our first set of baby T's from JunK and Mirim for mothers day. A bit big for for a newborn but as the baby gets older it'll fit down the line for probably a month. So for mother's day what did I do for my wife? Cooked some breakfast consisting of scrambled eggs with chedder and some thick cut bacon. For a present? Well, I wasn't the best present finder. I just asked what she wanted and it was a Holga Medium format toy camera. So I ordered it for her. Hopefully it's a good investment since my wife says she is going to use it to take pictures of the baby. I've seen some photos taken by others using a similar camera and they actually come out pretty nice.

Today I started my first day of clinic. It was a bit overwhelming because of all the information I had to process right away but my CI seems to be very patient and knows that I won't be taking it all in right away. But everyone at the clinic keeps telling me she is the best and that I should try and learn as much as I can when working with her. So I'll try my best. Doing my first bit of homework already looking at rotator cuff repairs and SLAP type 2 lesions. Getting kinda nerdy huh?

Well anyway, HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all those out there.

Pray for our little BEAN too!

PEACE!

Say Cheese!!

We got our first picture of the baby! The doctor said that everything is going well and that the baby is growing well. The doctor wants to see my wife again in a week. Very relieved that our little bean is doing well. We were both very happy.

Next week I start my clinical rotation at a hospital down in Culpeper. Long drive but what can you do. I am going to be missing the next doctors appointment but I'm sure everything will be ok. Maybe there will be another picture to post. Anyway keep praying for our growing famiLEE.

Also Happy Cinco De Mayo. Mommy wanted enchiladas. So Daddy made enchiladas.

So Far So Good

Hopefully I passed my exam. And hopefully I passed my 2nd year of PT school. Had the doctors appointment and we have a heart beat and a yolk sac! But the baby is smaller than what's expected. Hopefully everything will be ok. Still nervous about it all. Wow I said hopefully alot. Anyway keep us in your prayers if you can. Got another appointment next week. Fingers still crossed.

Double Whammy

So tomorrow I have my final final exam on acute care. I haven't really studied for it at all and in not sure what it might be like. Not only a test but also our first visit to the doctor to find out if everything is ok. I don't know why but I'm nervous and anxious. Hoping all is ok and we have a strong healthy heart beat. Guess the truth will be told tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

So It's True

So its been about 8 weeks now. We are officially pregnant. Well my wife is atleast. Kinda scary to think that we are going to have a kid at the end of year with me being in school still but it is a blessing. Just hoping and praying that everything turns out right. We have our first doctors appointment next week. This week I'm occupied by tests and exams. The wife got her EOD to start working for government. Lots of changes going on. I guess this is what happens when you're married. Anyways that's all for now. Hopefully I get better at this blogging business.
