Growing Up Fast.

Baby grow so fast. It seems like just yesterday she was born and still tiny. Now she is heavier and more active. Melody doesn't like to stay still. I've noticed she loves to transfer from supine to sit and sit to stand with total assist (for my PT friends out there). She has been cooing and making all sorts of noises lately too. I've tried to catch it on video, but Melody loves to grunt and push while dropping the deuce. Here is all I could get.

We have also been able to go out with the baby a lot more than before. Taking little trips to the mall, shopping, costco. Stuff like that. Only way we have been able to do it is with our trusty Maclaren Easy Traveller.

Reason why we got it was cause its one of 2 that would fit the peg perego car seat we have. The other one is the Safety 1st clic it. Reason why we went with this is cause its much more maneuverable and easier to use than the clic it. It is a bit big but its been fairly useful. Easy to fold up and easy install for the baby carrier. All you do is lay it in and click it in with the belt strap.

1 Month

It's already been a whole month since little Melody was born. I can't believe it. She has already changed a lot since my last post. I have to say though she makes it easy on Jee and I cause she doesn't fuss as much as we thought. She only cries when she is hungry or when she accidentally rolls off my chest while sleeping. She still has her moments of peeing and pooping while I'm trying to change her but I'm guessing that's not going to change anytime soon. It'll be nice when she can finally sleep through a whole night without waking up but for now we need to start transitioning her to her crib instead of all 3 of us sleeping on the middle floor. It's convenient but I don't want he to get used to sleeping with us and be able to sleep alone in her crib. The picture above is from our little photo session we took on friday. I wish I knew how to use my flash better so the pic didn't look so dark. I really wish I had Photoshop CS5 so I could work on editing the photos on the computer.

Happy New Year!

Can't believe it's already 2011. Melody is now almost a month old. It's been a whirlwind with going to clinic and helping with the baby around the house. Jee has been a very busy lady taking care of the baby the past month. Sometimes I wonder how she survives with such little sleep. But she gets to rest some while I am home. It's crazy how much the baby has changed in such a short period of time. You can see it in the pictures I have posted.


She has grown alot and soon I think we are going to have to put her in the 0-3 month clothes we have for her. Since I'm in physical therapy school, I'm always worried about her getting torticollis. She does turn her head more to her left. I really do need to start taking more pictures of her when I can. It's just hard to do when all you want to do is rest.

Well anyway, hopefully I'll be able to update more than just once a month. I wish blogspot would make an iphone app which would make it a lot easier to update. Anyways, till next time.
