Finally caught her in the act on video. Too bad I had to endure the consequences at the end. Anyway, the baby is growing and growing. She is 2 months now and she had her 2 month appointment with the Dr. She weighs 12.2lbs and measures 23 3/8 inches in height. So far she has gained about 4lbs and grew 3 inches. Now she loves to stand and sit up. She can basically sit in the bebepod all by herself but I don't trust leaving her in there for long since she isn't fully able to support the weight of her head, which is still only in the 50th percentile =P.
We also had our first full blow out where the poo sprayed all the way up Melody's back and on Jee's shirt and our bed. We've had small blow outs but this was the worst by far. Hopefully it won't get any worse than that.
Melody also got her first round of vaccinations on her 2 month bday. Advice to all those who are getting their babies vaccinated, give the baby tylenol prior to them getting their shots. Melody just wasn't herself, not that happy baby she has been prior to the shots. Very clingy and fussy, wouldn't sleep on her own either. We read it takes possibly up to a full week for a baby to recover. So hopefully baby Melody will be better in the next 2 days.
